This Education Taster Day will give students a hands-on look at what it’s like to study Education at university. While it’s perfect for anyone thinking about becoming a teacher, it’s equally valuable for anyone interested in working with children and young people.

We’ll explore how education connects with psychology, sociology, politics, and philosophy, showing how schools, communities, and society shape learning and development.

10 June 2026 - Our taster day will be interactive and hands-on and will explore real-world challenges to develop your practical industry skills.

The School of Business, Law and Society is pleased to announce another flagship event for individuals and college groups to take part in, all of which are expert-led.

This Psychology Taster Day offers students the opportunity to take part in engaging, interactive sessions across a variety of topics, designed to reflect what studying psychology at university is really like.

Throughout the day, students will explore key areas of the subject, develop their understanding of human behaviour, and gain valuable insights that can support their current studies.

It’s an ideal chance to experience university-style learning, ask questions, and discover the wide range of pathways a psychology degree can lead to.
