Your invitation to Minding Your Money
A virtual breakfast conversation with Martin Lewis, founder of MoneySavingExpert.com, and industry-leading panelists
Join us at 8.30am on 25 November for Minding Your Money - a fireside chat with Martin Lewis OBE, award-winning campaigning journalist, TV and radio presenter, newspaper columnist and Founder of MoneySavingExpert.com.
Hosted by Oli Barrett, Co-Founder of Turn on the Subtitles and creator of Tenner, and featuring contributions from a cross-sector panel, we’ll explore the important and inspirational role financial education has to play in the lives of young people. And in particular, how building a confident money-related mindset can improve social mobility.
During the 90-minute conversation, our panel will explore the role that mindset plays in developing the financial skills and capabilities needed to thrive in today’s society and close the social mobility gap, considering:
the mindsets and behaviours that drive informed financial decisions and how they can empower young people to take charge of their futures
how financial education can be an opportunity-maker for young people and has the potential to transform lives
what we can be doing to provide financial education through real-life scenarios that provide meaningful opportunities to bring financial decisions to life.
