This Work Experience programme is for Year 12 students who want to boost their confidence, build real-world skills and explore careers in Finance, Tech, HR, Law or Marketing.
The programme takes place over two sessions. To be eligible, you must be able to attend both sessions. Please read on for more details.
Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) is the UK’s largest digital bank which means that they provide lots of different online banking services. As a bank they look after people’s money and help them in every stage of their life, whether it's starting to save, getting a loan, or lending them money to buy a home. LBG also support businesses with their banking needs. Roles available include Audit, Data Analyst, Customer Services, Finance, Risk and HR.
As Lloyds Banking Group are the UK’s largest digital bank they also have a lot of tech and digital roles available in areas including product design, software engineering, and cyber security.
This Work Experience programme will see you join LBG, in-person for work experience that will provide you with practical expertise in building skills such as presenting, problem solving, creativity and networking and opportunities to showcase these with peers and LBG employees. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at what they do and meet the teams making a real difference for LBG’s customers, clients and communities.
To be eligible to attend, you must be available for both sessions.
Session 1: Friday 6 March 2026 - 9:30am - 3pm
Session 2: Friday 12 June 2026 - 9:30am - 3pm
