New College Swindon offers a fantastic opportunity for young people to experience what it’s like to study Animal Management in a real college environment.
This engaging, hands on morning is designed to help students discover new interests, build confidence, and gain a clearer understanding of the subjects they may wish to pursue in the future. Students will take part in a range of interactive Animal Care
activities, giving them a genuine insight into the skills and knowledge involved in this exciting field.
Highlights include:
Interactive Sessions: Practical, engaging activities linked to Animal Management
Meet the Experts: Insights from curriculum leaders and the chance to ask questions about college life.
Please note: This event must be booked, and places are limited.

If the session becomes fully booked, students will be added to a waiting list for any cancellations. As this is a limited ticket event, parents/carers will be asked to drop students off for the duration. Unfortunately, additional guests cannot be accommodated.
The day will begin with a short Health & Safety briefing, followed by hands-on animal husbandry tasks completed alongside our technical team and current students. This
experience helps young people understand the realities of working with animals and supports their decision making for future study.
What Students Need to Bring:
