Here at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust (RUH), we are committed to offering work experience to students from schools and colleges to support young people into future NHS careers. If you are thinking of a career change towards health, we might be able to help too.
We are delighted to be offering a range of non-clinical work experience opportunities for Year 12-13 students in areas such as marketing, library services and Estates as well as our medical placements.
Work experience can help you decide on your next step in your career. Don't take our word for it, watch the videos below to see what Jack, a previous work experience student, and Tina, a work experience supervisor at the RUH, think about it.
Applications for our Spring/Summer 2024 Work Experience programme are now open!
We will have a variety of opportunities within medical, clinical and non-clinical areas. Please state on your application which placement area/s you are interested in.
Please note our work experience is only available to those in year 12 or 13 or in their first or second year of college. We do not offer work experience to students in years 10 and 11.
