Info Evening Recording: Calne Wordfest Podcast Volunteering (Year 10+)

During 2020-21 Covid lockdown, young people (age 16 - 25) across Calne came together virtually as Wordfest volunteers to begin making a podcast. This podcast aims to tell the story behind Calne in an imaginative form but based on past history and facts.

We are looking for young people in Calne to join our group of volunteers to make future episodes. These episodes will be available for our community and visitors to Calne to enjoy.

We held an KGA and Calne Wordfest virtual information evening on Wednesday 26th January from 6.30 - 7pm.

Episode 1 – Curiousity Calne was completed during lockdown by the volunteers and is based on the legend of The Cherhill Gang and a possible UFO sighting.

You can see a snippet of the podcast during this promotional video that was released during lockdown last year.

The question that is left is: Is this podcast fiction or real?!
